New Stock…

Further to the many Deck Clocks now available in the Callumations Store, there’s also a whole bundle of Ploggits and now some of Becka Griffiths’ limited edition prints.

Stallumations Core – Now Open!

That’s right!

After far too long of playing around pointlessly, I now declare the Callumations Store officially open!

With a selection of clocks, figurines and limited prints, head over to http://store.callumations.com/ to check it all out.

Be sure to take a look at ‘Crustles’, the limited edition clock from Fat-Pie’s Christian ‘Crust’ Pickup.

There will be more products added to further categories in the coming weeks.

Cast your minds back to the day when….

Saturday the 9th of May, 2009, saw the incredible Farse re-united and as solid as ever, on the same stage we saw their supposed farewell, 5 years ago.
Given their untimely exit from the UK Ska circuit those many years ago, and the lack of ska-core support in recent times; the Sold Out performance, the hugely satisfying reception, the extremely grateful frontman, and the memories of the energy they inject, were all truly justified.
‘Mazen.
A grand selection of songs, made it hard for many to stay still and showed the O2 Academy 2 just how big a circle can be formed in there. With a few re-worked verses, presented by a replaced Tom on guitar, and a slight medley thrown in, things were kept fresh and, more so, fun throughout. Plus, with the added bonus of the amazing performance captured for a free download, there wasn’t one grumble to be heard.
As Ollie revealed, their reunion was brought on by an ethusiastic approach from the Slam Dunk organisers in Leeds, makes me wonder why they’re sheduled for such an early stage time, and whether Saturday’s turn-out proves they deserve bumping up?
But the bigger question looms!
Do we have our favourite Brummy 5-piece back for good?

There was certainly an overwhelming and ever thankful feeling coming from the stage, and those of surprise at the ticket sales. Let’s hope the many miles spent, the sicky-anxious build up, the giant soggy bald man who graced my mouth with his sweat, and the 5 year wait have all paid off and we have Farse back for at least a little while longer.
There’s still a few songs we we’re waiting to hear boys!
Fifteen Forever.

Where’s His Fuckin’ Sherry?

Where’s Me Fuckin’ Sherry – Bob Noxious 2008 Christmas Single.

He’s only gone and bloody done it again, and so have I.

This year Santa’s back to show those bastards who’s the man in charge of this whole festive shenanigans. With a bottle in one hand and a mince pie in the other, he’s brought his guitar along to tell people why he’s here.

If you missed 2007′s offering, Fuck Off.

Life before her eyes.

Shortly after a near death experience on the way to work, I found myself considering the possibilities of one’s own death arising from their very life flashing before their eyes.

You’re driving along when suddenly a maroon Fiesta appears from nowhere, hurtling toward your driver’s side. Expecting imminent death, your past years start running by in chronological order.
Little did you know that while your vision is occupied elsewhere, the fiesta’s managed to evade your nicely polished 306 and careered off into a group of schoolkids awaiting their bus.
You’re Scott free!
Off the hook!
Salvation!

But as your eyesight is still distracted by visions of skid marks in school and shitty day jobs spent writing on a blog, you slam straight into the same 30 year old oak you just saw yourself planting as a kid.

I don’t know, I’m not sure how this popular, unproven concept is meant to work, but the thought it could introduce your untimely demise once you’d escaped the initial threat made me think somewhat, and at least distracted me from work for a little while.

Who’d a thunk it!

New W.I.P.

Today I’ve started work on an idea that’s been buzzing about my head for a while.

It made me chortle when it first ran through my mind so I thought it might be worth doing…
